Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Technical Specialist, General Liability, to independently manage injury and property damage claims from first notice through resolution. You will investigate coverage, liability, and damages while maintaining timely communications with customers and stakeholders.

The role requires handling high‑complexity claims, NDAs and possible litigation support, with opportunities to mentor Claim Reps and adopt new technologies in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3+ years of liability, bodily injury, or comparable claim experience.
• 2+ years of litigation claim experience.
• Active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Experience with claims management systems and enterprise tech.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle high‑volume workload with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage an active caseload of injury and/or property damage claims through resolution.
• Investigate information by contacting all relevant parties to determine coverage and liability.
• Provide timely communication to customers, attorneys, and vendors.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and coordinate with counsel for litigation management.
• Maintain accurate claim records in management systems.
