Travelers is seeking a Technical Specialist, General Liability to manage and investigate moderate complexity injury and/or property damage claims, including determining coverage, evaluating liability, and establishing reserves. You will engage with customers, counsel, and internal teams to ensure timely, fair settlements.

The role emphasizes mentorship of Claim Reps, use of management systems, and adaptability to new technologies and regulatory requirements, with a focus on high-quality customer

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information to multiple stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload.
• Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills; ability to handle complex or disputed claims and manage litigation.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Independently manage an active caseload of injury and/or property damage claims.
• Investigate information to determine coverage, evaluate liability, and establish appropriate reserves.
• Provide timely and professional communication to customers, counsel, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Counsel to support litigation management strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of claim activity in claim management systems.
