Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Technical Specialist, Specialty Liability, to handle moderate complexity injury and property damage claims from notice to resolution. You will assess coverage, liability, damages, and reserves while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Ideal candidates bring liability/bodily injury experience, claims management skills, and an active adjuster license where required. Travel may be required and a sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Three years of liability or bodily injury claim experience.
• Two years of litigation claim experience.
• Active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Experience with claims management systems and enterprise tech.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage an active caseload of injury and/or property damage claims.
• Gather information, determine coverage, evaluate liability, and establish reserves.
• Communicate with customers, counsel, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Negotiate settlements and issue payments within authority.
• Support litigation management and maintain claim records.
