Job summary

Metropolis is seeking a strategic Director of Business Development focused on Future Mobility to own a regional territory (San Francisco Bay Area) and drive net-new opportunities from prospecting to close. You will work closely with the Future Mobility team to identify pain points, build tailored proposals, and negotiate multi-stakeholder deals.

You will lead client presentations, manage pipeline in CRM, and collaborate across marketing, operations, and legal to align efforts with business

Qualifications

8+ years in B2B business development or sales.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in net-new, greenfield territories.
Willingness to travel regionally to support clients and prospecting.
Experience selling into asset managers, ownership groups, or real estate partners.
Experience leveraging AI tools to transform static workflows into responsive, high-output processes.

Responsibilities

Own full sales cycle in assigned regional territory (San Francisco Bay Area) with a focus on Future Mobility use cases, from prospecting to negotiation and close.
Identify and develop net new business opportunities through multiple lead generation channels including cold outreach and networking events.
Lead client presentations, including discovery sessions and proposal delivery.
Monitor and manage pipeline development and sales performance metrics in CRM to drive continuous improvement.
