Metropolis Technologies is seeking a strategic Director of Business Development to own the SF Bay Area regional growth, focusing on Future Mobility. The role emphasizes relationship-building, complex negotiations, and data-driven forecasting, with a base salary in the range of $160,000 to $180,000 USD annually and an on-site office
Qualifications
- 8+ years in B2B business development, sales, or related roles.
- Experience selling into asset managers, ownership groups, or real estate partners.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in net-new, greenfield territories.
- Data-literate with experience in pipeline management and forecasting.
- Proficient in sales tools and CRM platforms, such as Salesforce.
- Strong familiarity with the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Willingness to travel regionally to support clients, prospecting, etc.
Responsibilities
- Own full sales cycle in the assigned regional territory (SF Bay Area) with a focus on Future Mobility use cases, from prospecting to close.
- Identify and develop net new business opportunities through multiple lead channels.
- Use a consultative approach to uncover pain points and translate them into proposals.
- Lead client presentations, discovery sessions, and proposal delivery.
- Build relationships across key stakeholder groups and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and legal to align efforts with business goals.
- Monitor and manage pipeline development and sales performance in CRM.
