Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is hiring an Operations Management Trainee to support shop management and drive cost savings, customer retention, and metric-driven initiatives. You will work across Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality and Rental Management, learning to manage a heavy-duty truck repair shop while training for an ops supervisor role.

The program requires a 4-year degree and offers internal growth with promotion from within.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 1 year or more in customer service with issue resolution preferred.
• Strong PC knowledge with spreadsheets and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships and proactive issue resolution.
• Coordinate with rental, sales, and maintenance to optimize costs and satisfaction.
• Assist in PM scheduling, vehicle status updates, and technician planning.
• Support cross-functional collaboration across Ops, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing.
