Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Forest Park, GA seeks an Operations Management Trainee to support shop management, drive cost savings, and improve customer retention.

You’ll work cross-functionally across Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, and Rental Management while training to become an Ops Supervisor. This fast-paced program offers learning across the business unit and relocation within the unit after training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, Required.
• 1 year or more in customer service with issues resolution experience, Preferred.
• Strong PC knowledge/skills to include spreadsheet and word processing software packages Advanced, Required.
• Basic understanding of Business Finance, controls and metrics Beginner, Required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer interface and proactive management to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with rental department to maximize utilization for lease customers.
• Assist Sales on customer calls for new business and satisfaction.
• Manage running costs and maintenance overheads; optimize processes.
• Ensure accurate PM scheduling and oversee technician work planning for efficiency.
