Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions seeks an Operations Management Trainee to support the shop management process and assist in cost savings, customer retention, and metric-based initiatives. This role requires cross-functional work across Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, and Rental.

You will coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, and Sales teams to optimize utilization, scheduling, and vehicle status; relocation within the unit is required after training to broaden experience and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 1 year or more in customer service with issues resolution experience.
• Strong PC knowledge including spreadsheet and word processing.
• Basic understanding of Business Finance, controls and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the rental department to maximize utilization.
• Partner with Sales on customer calls for new business and satisfaction.
• Monitor running costs and maintenance overheads and ensure policy compliance.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee PM scheduling, breakdowns, and vehicle status; plan technician work.
