Job summary

Rooms To Go is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate in Nashville to greet customers, uncover home furnishing needs, and generate sales through a consultative approach.

You'll work with a cooperative team, use tablets and touch screens, and benefit from top-tier training, a comprehensive benefits package, and uncapped commissions based on performance. The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities to grow in a nationwide furniture retailer.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail sales experience preferred, but not required (will train the right candidate).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to use current electronic devices, such as tablets and touch screens.
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible retail schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers.
• Uncover customer's home furnishing needs to help them make their design vision a reality.
• Generate sales through a consultative approach.
• Build rapport with customers, through strong interpersonal skills and excellent listening skills.
• Encourage additional products to complete the room.
• Work as a team to achieve sales goals.
• Explain financing and protection plans.
• Demonstrate our product value and explain benefits that fulfill the customer's needs.
