Job summary

Rooms To Go is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate to greet and engage customers, uncover their home furnishing needs, and drive sales through a consultative approach. You’ll build rapport with customers with strong listening skills and apply our financing and protection plans to fulfill needs.

You will use cutting-edge sales tools and devices while collaborating with the team to hit sales goals across 250 locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail sales experience preferred, but not required (will train the right candidate).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to use current electronic devices, such as tablets and touch screens.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers
• Uncover customer's home furnishing needs to help them make their design vision become a reality
• Generate sales through a consultative approach
• Build rapport with customers, through strong interpersonal skills and excellent listening skills. Earning their business through honest conversation filled with integrity
• Encourage additional products to complete the room
• Work as a team to achieve sales goals
• Explain financing and protection plans
• Demonstrate our product value and explain benefits that fulfill the customer's needs
