Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is hiring a Sales Consultant in Baton Rouge to drive furniture and design sales with exceptional customer service. You will promote the Design program, conduct home consultations, and use the La-Z-Boy selling process to close sales and build lasting customer relationships.

Training pay is provided for 2-6 weeks at $15-$20/hour, with promising post-training earnings. After training, base pay ranges from $11-$18/hour plus commission and bonuses, with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to reach design sales goals.
• Execute La-Z-Boy selling process and provide a positive customer experience.
• Schedule home consultations for customized room designs.
• Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up.
• Train and coach peers on product knowledge and selling skills.
