Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a results-driven Sales Counselor to help families navigate funeral and cemetery decisions with care and professionalism. The role blends consultative B2C sales, lead development, and community outreach to build strong customer relationships and growth.

You will meet with individuals and families, sell pre-need and at-need services, manage a pipeline in HubSpot CRM, follow up on leads, and partner with local funeral home and cemetery teams to ensure exceptional

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency a plus, particularly Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog/Filipino, Vietnamese, or Arabic.
• One year of experience in sales or related roles preferred.
• CRM software experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) preferred.
• Commission-based, performance-driven environment; prospecting and lead generation required.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with multiple leads and appointments.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need services, cemetery property, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through lead generation, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, inquiries, and walk-ins; conduct follow-up throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and community members.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately; guide purchasing decisions and complete contracts.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, appointments, and opportunities across the sales cycle.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
