Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor to meet with individuals and families, understand their needs, and guide them through funeral and cemetery product choices. You will build a robust pipeline via leads, referrals, and community outreach, while managing activity in HubSpot CRM.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in sales, including outside sales, B2C sales, sales consulting, customer service or related roles.
• Experience using CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or similar).
• Comfortable working in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment including prospecting and lead generation.
• Strong sales communication, relationship-building, negotiation, consultative selling, and customer service skills.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus (e.g., Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog/Filipino, Vietnamese, Arabic).

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend appropriate funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through lead generation, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and customer inquiries; conduct follow-up throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and community members.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately; guide purchasing decisions.
