Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor to assist families with funeral selections and to attend services. You will sell pre-need and at-need services and cemetery merchandise, with leads from walk-ins, inbound calls and proactive prospecting.

This role offers uncapped commission and a first-year earnings range of $50,000 to $100,000, plus training pay of $18.00 per hour for six weeks. Valid driver's license and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with some additional education in Business/Marketing/Sales preferred.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) required.
• Experience with a CRM/lead management system preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist families with funeral selections and attend services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services and inventory, as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise.
• Generate leads through walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive prospecting.
• Provide compassionate, personalized support to grieving families.
