Job summary

Everstory Partners in Springfield, MO, seeks a Sales Counselor to guide families through funeral service selections and cemetery merchandise with compassion and discretion. You will assist families during arrangements and attend services, while leads come from walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive prospecting.

First-year earnings range from $35,000 to $55,000, with uncapped commissions, plus 6 weeks of training pay at $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with some additional education preferred in Business/Marketing/Sales.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement provided.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) required.
• Experience working in a CRM (lead management system preferred).
• Strong attention to detail with problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist families with funeral selections and attend services.
• Leads are generated through walk-ins, inbound calls and proactive lead generation and prospecting.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Balance multiple appointments and coordinate travel to offsite meetings and events.
