Job summary

Everstory Partners in Greensboro, NC seeks a Sales Counselor to help families choose funeral and cemetery products with compassion and clarity. You will build a pipeline through leads, referrals, and outreach while guiding purchasing decisions and completing required contracts.

This full-time role offers commission-based earnings with a guaranteed minimum hourly rate during training, plus comprehensive benefits after hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in sales or related roles preferred.
• CRM experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus, especially in Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog/Filipino, Vietnamese, or Arabic.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a personal vehicle for local appointments; mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and provide consultative guidance on products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build a sales pipeline through inbound leads, walk-ins, referrals, prospecting, networking, and community outreach.
• Maintain customer relationships, manage follow-up activity, and track leads and sales opportunities through HubSpot CRM.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete required contracts and documentation.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
• Partner with funeral home, cemetery, operations, and location leadership teams to provide a positive customer experience.
