Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor to assist families with funeral selections, purchase cemetery services, and related merchandise. The role involves walking in customers, inbound calls, and proactive prospecting to generate leads.

First-year earnings range from $60,000 to $70,000 with uncapped commissions, plus six weeks of paid training at $18.00/hour for onboarding. A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required for offsite meetings and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related education in business/marketing/sales preferred.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; travel to client/community events; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) required.
• Experience working with a CRM (lead management system) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with problem solving; strong verbal/written/interpersonal communication.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services and related inventory.
• Assist families with funeral selections and attend services.
• Generate leads through walk-ins, inbound calls and proactive prospecting.
