Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor in Novi, MI to guide individuals and families through funeral and cemetery product decisions with compassion and expertise. The role combines consultative B2C sales, business development, and community outreach to build relationships and drive new business.

Expect commissions on performance, with a guaranteed minimum hourly rate or uncapped commissions, plus paid training during the first six weeks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual/multilingual skills a plus (Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Arabic).
• 1 year of sales or related relationship-based experience preferred.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot or Salesforce preferred.
• Comfort with commission-based, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to assess needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products.
• Sell pre-need and at-need services and related merchandise.
• Develop and maintain a sales pipeline through referrals, outreach, and inbound leads.
• Respond to inquiries and follow up with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, appointments, and opportunities.
