Job summary

Everstory Partners in Fredericksburg, VA seeks a Sales Counselor who helps families choose funeral and cemetery options with empathy. You will manage leads in HubSpot, conduct consultations, and guide purchasing decisions, earning commissions based on performance.

The role builds a local pipeline through inbound and outreach, meeting families, coordinating with funeral homes and cemeteries, and maintaining relationships.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual/multilingual skills a plus (Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese or Arabic).
• 1 year of sales or similar relationship-based experience preferred.
• CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, Dynamics) preferred.
• Commission-based, performance-driven environment; prospecting and lead generation expected.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to assess needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline via inbound leads, walk-ins, referrals, prospecting, networking, and outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and customer inquiries; follow up through the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and community members.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete contracts/documentation.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads and sales activities.
