Job summary

City Year is seeking an entry-level City Year AmeriCorps member to coach and mentor students across grade levels in a school setting. You will support academic growth, attendance and positive behaviors while partnering with teachers on in-class instruction and targeted student support.

This paid, full-time role includes 2–4 weeks of training and ongoing collaboration with school staff. You will lead small groups and 1:1 sessions to boost literacy and math skills, while helping create a safe,

• GED or high school diploma or higher required.
• Experience working with students is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers and staff.
