Job summary

City Year AmeriCorps member will coach and mentor students across grade levels to boost academic success, attendance, and positive school behaviors. Training is provided at the start of the year with ongoing support from teachers and staff.

You will plan and monitor student progress, collaborate with teachers on in-class activities, and help create an engaging, safe classroom space while supporting school-wide initiatives and after-school programs.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching and mentoring students is a plus but not required.
• Training provided at start of year with ongoing support from teachers and staff.
