Job summary

UDF is hiring an Assistant Manager in Cincinnati, OH to ensure exceptional guest service and smooth store operations. You will lead shifts, coach staff, manage daily admin tasks, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for customers.

The role requires lifting up to 10 pounds, proficiency with POS systems, and adherence to alcohol/tobacco sale regulations. Schedule includes 1st–3rd shifts and 37–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment, including POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment and to operate all store equipment.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps and make change.
• Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to 5 feet.

Responsibilities

• Managing other associates: coaching, assigning duties and training Shift Leaders and Guest Services Associates.
• Store Administration: ordering, review of weekly delivery reports, transfer of products, completion of paperwork.
• Overall Guest Services: provide Hi Five Guest Experience, greet guests warmly, ensure store ready and inviting.
• DipSide Guest Services: prepare shakes/malts, cups/cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Operate Point of Sale System and Gas Console correctly, handle transactions and provide accurate change.
• Stocking Merchandise: keep shelves and displays full, rotate stock, ensure proper presentation.
• Security: monitor guests, control cash, follow Tobacco/Alcohol and security procedures.
• Maintenance: keep store and parking lot clean and safe, monitor equipment temperatures.
• Reporting: complete time records and Customer First Document accurately.
• Other duties as assigned by Management
