Job summary

UDF is seeking an Assistant Manager in Cincinnati to lead daily operations and deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience. You will supervise staff, manage cash handling, and ensure top-notch store conditions, while following safety, alcohol/tobacco sales rules, and company policies.

The role requires strong English communication and hands-on coaching of associates. This full-time position offers 37–40 hours weekly, with shifts across 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to operate all store equipment including POS terminals and gas console.
• Ability to prepare DipSide items using available dip cabinet supplies.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, and payments accurately.
• Ability to count, record transactions and manage basic paperwork.
• Ability to lift and move items as required by the role.

Responsibilities

• Managing other associates: assign tasks, coach, and train Shift Leaders.
• Store administration: handle ordering, weekly reports, transfers, and paperwork.
• Deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience and ensure guest satisfaction.
• DipSide guest services: prepare shakes, sundaes, cones, and related items.
• Operate POS and gas console accurately and securely.
• Stock merchandize and maintain clean, presentable store conditions.
• Maintain security and follow cash drop procedures; assist management as needed.
