Job summary

UDF is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a busy store in Cincinnati, OH, focusing on excellent guest service and store operations. Responsibilities include supervising associates, ensuring cash handling accuracy, and maintaining store conditions to meet The Hi Five standards.

The role requires coordinating with the Store Manager and District Supervisor, managing shifts, and ensuring legal compliance for all sales, including alcohol and tobacco.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication with customers.
• Ability to operate POS terminal and gas console.
• Physical ability to lift and move items as required (e.g., 10 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Associates; coach and train Shift Leaders and Guest Services staff.
• Assist in store administration tasks including ordering and weekly delivery reports.
• Deliver The Hi Five Guest Experience to ensure guest satisfaction and return visits.
• Assist with daily opening/closing duties and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain store appearance, stock levels and equipment cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies and safety standards.
