Job summary

UDF Cincinnati is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily store operations and deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience. You will supervise associates, assist with scheduling, coaching, and training, and ensure safe, clean store conditions.

Responsibilities include POS/gas sales, cash handling, inventory, and ensuring compliance with policies and laws. Availability 4am-1pm on weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Availability from 4am-1pm on weekends.
• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to operate store equipment, including POS terminal, gas console, and cash handling.
• Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment.
• Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies located in the dip cabinets.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps, and make change.
• Ability to recognize numbers, count and perform arithmetic for required records.
• Ability to move merchandise to display areas and maintain proper product presentation.
• Ability to tolerate cold temperatures and lift and place items as required.

Responsibilities

• Managing other Associates: assign/monitor duties, coach The Hi Five Guest Experience, train Shift Leaders and Guest Services Associates.
• Store Administration: ordering, weekly delivery reports, product transfers, and paperwork as directed.
• Overall Guest Services: provide the signature Hi Five Guest Experience and ensure guests leave satisfied.
• DipSide Guest Services: prepare shakes, ice cream, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• POS and Gas Console operation: handle transactions, payments, and security procedures.
• Stocking Merchandise: keep shelves, cold cases, and display areas stocked and presentable.
• Security: monitor guests, manage cash drops, and follow tobacco/alcohol/robbery policies.
• Maintenance: keep store and parking lot clean and equipment temperatures monitored.
• Reporting: accurate time records and customer-first documentation.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
