Job summary

UDF Assistant Manager position in Ohio is a full-time role overseeing guest service and daily store operations. You will lead associates, manage store procedures, and ensure high standards of service and compliance with policies.

The role requires coordinating with the Store Manager, handling cash and gas sales, and maintaining store conditions and safety. Must be able to work various shifts and train junior staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to operate store equipment including POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions and make change.
• Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and move items into appropriate storage/display.
• Ability to tolerate cold temperatures (–30°F) for at least 2 minutes.
• Ability to work full-time schedule (37–40 hours) and potentially 1st/2nd/3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Managing other associates: assign/monitor duties, coach The Hi Five Guest Experience, train Shift Leaders and Guest Services staff.
• Store administration: ordering, weekly delivery reports, product transfers, paperwork.
• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience: greet guests warmly and ensure readiness and guest satisfaction.
• DipSide Guest Services: prepare shakes, sundaes, cones, drinks.
• Operate POS and gas console accurately; handle transactions and payments.
• Stock shelves, milk boxes, dip cabinets; maintain cleanliness and rotation of stock.
• Maintain store and parking lot safety, equipment temperatures, and overall conditions.
• Submit time records and relevant customer/service documents.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
