Job summary

UDF is seeking an Assistant Manager in Ohio to ensure outstanding guest service and smooth store operation during their shift. You will lead a team, manage daily store activities, and uphold all policies including alcohol and tobacco compliance.

The role requires supervising staff, handling cash, operating POS and gas systems, stocking merchandise, and maintaining store conditions. The position is full-time with multiple shift options.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to operate POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and make change.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and work in cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Managing other associates: coaching and supervising shift staff, and assisting with interviews.
• Store administration: ordering, weekly reports, product transfers, paperwork as directed by Store Manager.
• Guest services: deliver The Hi Five Guest Experience and ensure guests leave satisfied.
• DipSide guest services: prepare shakes, ice cream, sundaes, and related items.
• POS and gas console operations: authorize and process sales, handle transactions and inventory control.
• Stocking merchandise: maintain shelves, displays, and coolers, rotate stock.
• Security: monitor store for safety and deter theft, manage cash drops.
• Maintenance: keep store and parking lot clean and safe, monitor equipment temperatures.
• Reporting: complete time records and documentation.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
