Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The RT will assess, treat, and manage respiratory therapies for a geriatric population, operating equipment and documenting care with minimal supervision.

Candidates must be licensed in the practicing state (RRT/CRT) and hold BLS certification. Experience in long-term care and ability to participate in IDT meetings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement respiratory techniques for rehab patients with various respiratory and non-respiratory illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and check equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and document daily, weekly, monthly activities.
• Conduct in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Attend IDT meetings and manage caseload.
