DFW Home Health is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Fort Worth, with Azle area coverage. You will support patients through exercise instruction and therapy plans under the supervision of a PT.

The role offers a $2,500 bonus for full-time status and relocation assistance. As part of the Optum family, you’ll contribute to compassionate care and connect with patients, families, and the community we serve.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsabilités

• Follow state laws governing home PT practice and work under the supervising PT’s plan of care.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercises, gait, ADL, transfer, and mobility training.
• Observe and report patient responses and communicate changes to the supervising PT and care team.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy within PTA scope.
• Adapt to home environments and patient needs regardless of background.
