Job summary

DFW Home Health, part of the Optum family, is hiring a Full-Time Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients in the Fort Worth area including Azle. We offer a $2,500 bonus for full-time, plus relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed PTA in state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Willingness to work a weekend rotation.
• CPR certification preferred (within 90 days).
• Ability to perform lifting and mobility assistance.

Responsibilities

• Follow supervising PT’s plan of care and state laws.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercises and gait training.
• Record patient responses and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques within PTA scope.
• Adapt to home settings and diverse patient needs.
