Job summary

DFW Home Health in Dallas, TX is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients in the Rockwall area under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will deliver treatment, provide exercise instruction, and patient education aimed at improving well-being.

The role offers a $2,500 bonus for full-time employees and relocation assistance. The package includes a mix of pay types; annual total cash target ranges from $58,241 to $87,361 depending on productivity and days

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified to assist in physical therapy in the state of practice.
• CPR certification preferred or achievable within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and supervising PT's plan; perform only authorized procedures.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL and mobility.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate with healthcare team.
• Educate patient, family, and care team in therapy areas.
• Adapt to home settings regardless of age, race, gender, disability, or finances.
