DFW Home Health in Dallas, TX is hiring a full-time Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). The role offers a $2,500 bonus for full-time staff and relocation bonus opportunities within a supportive, patient‑focused team. You’ll work within the Optum family to deliver compassionate home health care.

As PTA, you will implement treatment plans, educate patients and families, and support the supervising PT. Weekend rotation availability and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting with mobility.

Responsabilités

• Follow state laws governing home health PT; work under supervising PT and adjust plan of care as needed.
• Instructs patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, safety and prosthetic training.
• Observes, records, and reports patient response to treatment; coordinates care with health team.
• Educates patient, family, caregiver, and health team within PTA scope of therapy.
• Ability to function in any home environment, respecting all individuals.
