Job summary

TMX Finance Family of Companies in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional service, educate customers on loan and pawn options, and support store operations. You will help manage payments, appointments, and referrals while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional demeanor with customers and peers.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to accurately enter data.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
• Proficiency in using phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Background check required in accordance with law.
• Ability to meet physical demands including standing for up to 90% of the time and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience throughout the full cycle of the loan or pawn process by educating consumers and making recommendations based on their financial needs.
• Assist in customer account management by accepting payments, monitoring, and managing customer appointments.
• Work to meet Company-set performance standards by leveraging partnerships, obtaining referrals, and hosting events.
• Develop customer relationships to build new business, maintain store profitability, and enhance brand loyalty.
• Conduct vehicle appraisals accurately using the assessment tool.
• Enter and maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy.
• Uphold compliance with policies and laws.
• Maintain office security protocols including vault, cash drawer, and deposits.
• Work in a changing environment and handle multiple tasks to meet performance standards.
• Use strong interpersonal skills to communicate with customers and Team Members.
