Job summary

UDF in Cincinnati is seeking an Assistant Manager to help deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience and supervise shifts. The role focuses on coaching staff, managing daily store operations, and ensuring excellent service.

As a full-time leader, you will oversee guest services, inventory, and store compliance, while maintaining safe and welcoming conditions for guests and team members. Evening and weekend availability is expected to support busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers.
• Ability to operate store equipment including POS, gas console, and price book.
• Ability to handle transactions, money, and checks accurately.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Managing other Associates: assign/monitor duties, coach The Hi Five Guest Experience, train Shift Leaders and Guest Services Associates; conduct interviews for applicants.
• Store Administration: ordering, review of weekly delivery reports, product transfers, paperwork per Store Manager or District Supervisor.
• Overall Guest Services: provide Hi Five Guest Experience, greet guests, ensure store is prepared and ready for guests, anticipate guest needs.
• DipSide Guest Services: prepare shakes/malts, cups/cones, sundaes, sodas, hand-packed containers.
• Efficient Operation of POS and Gas Console: authorize gas sales, register transactions, handle coins/currency/checks/credit cards, coupons.
• Stocking Merchandise: keep shelves and freezers filled and presentable, rotate stock, check for out-of-code dates.
• Security: monitor guests, manage cash drops, follow Tobacco/Alcohol and Robbery/Violence Deterrence programs.
• Maintenance: keep store and parking lot safe and clean, monitor temperatures of equipment.
• Reporting: accurate time records and Customer First Document.
• Other duties as assigned by Management
