Job summary

UDF in Dayton, OH is seeking an Assistant Manager to ensure outstanding guest service by following The Hi Five Guest Experience. You will supervise shifts, handle store operations, and support the Store Manager.

The role requires supervising associates, managing cash, and maintaining store conditions while complying with laws and company policies. Flexibility to work 1st-3rd shifts is expected, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers in English.
• Ability to operate store equipment including POS and gas console.
• Ability to handle cash, checks, credit transactions and coupons.
• Ability to tolerate temperature extremes and lift modest weights as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach associates; conduct interviews.
• Handle store administration including ordering and paperwork.
• Deliver The Hi Five Guest Experience and greet guests.
• Prepare DipSide items and manage ice cream/yogurt prep.
• Operate POS system and gas console; process transactions.
• Stock shelves and maintain proper rotation and cleanliness.
• Monitor security and cash drop procedures.
• Maintain store and equipment; monitor temperatures.
• Accurately complete time records and customer documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
