Job summary

UDF in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to lead a team and deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience. You will supervise associates, coach shift leaders, and ensure smooth store operations, while maintaining safety and compliance with policies.

The role is full-time (37–40 hours weekly), with 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift availability. Pay ranges from $14.75 to $16.75 per hour, commensurate with experience and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members in English.
• Ability to supervise and train shift staff and conduct coaching as needed.
• Ability to perform cash handling, POS use and basic arithmetic accurately.
• Ability to operate and monitor store equipment and ensure safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage other associates, assign duties, coach The Hi Five Guest Experience and screen applicants.
• Handle store administration, ordering, delivery reports and paperwork as directed.
• Deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience, greet guests, anticipate needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare DipSide items and manage the food service line and prep area.
• Operate POS and gas console, process transactions and handle cash/credit accurately.
• Stock shelves, keep display and freezers organized and rotate stock properly.
• Maintain security awareness, control cash drops and follow tobacco/alcohol policies.
• Maintain store cleanliness and equipment temperatures; ensure safe conditions.
• Complete time records and Customer First documents; perform other duties as assigned.
