Job summary

UDF in Cincinnati, OH is looking for an Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the Hi Five Guest Experience. The role reports to the Store Manager and offers a full-time schedule (37–40 hours/week) with shifts that may include 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.

Pay ranges $14.75–$16.75 per hour. The position requires strong English communication, cash handling, POS experience, and the ability to coach staff while maintaining store standards and compliance with alcohol/tobacco sales laws.

Qualifications

• Speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate with customers.
• Able to operate store equipment including POS terminal and gas console.
• Capable of handling coins/currency and processing transactions accurately.
• Willing to train/coach Shift Leaders and Guest Services Associates.

Responsibilities

• Manage other associates, assign and monitor duties, coach the Hi Five Guest Experience.
• Perform store administration tasks such as ordering and weekly delivery reports.
• Ensure signature Hi Five Guest Experience and greet guests warmly.
• Prepare DipSide items and maintain dip cabinet readiness.
• Operate POS system and gas console accurately, handle transactions and payments.
• Stock shelves, ensure proper rotation and clean/display standards.
• Maintain security, monitor guests, manage cash drops and risk procedures.
• Maintain store/parking lot safety and cleanliness; monitor equipment temperatures.
• Complete time records and customer documents; perform other duties as assigned.
