Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruiting for Service Center and Shop locations. You will develop recruitment strategies, screen candidates, conduct onsite interviews, extend offers, and negotiate terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting qualified Mechanics, preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-life cycle recruiting for Service Center and Shop roles including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers.
• Analyze current recruiting processes and recommend improvements.
• Handle iCIMS requisitions for Service Center and Shop openings.
• Identify local colleges and career centers to build candidate pipelines.
• Develop and execute long- and short-term recruiting objectives for Service Center and Shop staff.
• Allocate budget for job postings and advertisements as appropriate.
• Partner with managers to determine staffing needs and qualifications.
• Create data reports and performance metrics to drive improvements.
• Build a strong candidate pipeline via social media, job boards, referrals, recruiters, etc.
• Coordinate interviews and cadenced meetings with managers; conduct open interviews as needed.
