Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for our Service Center and Shop locations. You will source, screen, interview, and extend offers while collaborating with hiring managers to meet staffing needs.

You will analyze recruiting processes, build candidate pipelines with local colleges, and manage data reports to drive improvements. This role requires strong communication, organization, and independent decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting Mechanics is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-life cycle recruiting for Service Center and Shop roles including developing recruitment strategies, sourcing & screening candidates, participating in onsite interviews, negotiating offers.
• Analyze current recruiting processes and recommend improvements.
• Manage full pipeline interview and hiring in iCIMS for Service Center and Shop requisitions.
• Identify local career centers and colleges to maintain candidate pipelines.
• Create and implement short- and long-term objectives for recruiting Service Center and Shop personnel.
• Allocate company dollars to postings and advertisements.
