Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for our Service Center and Shop locations. You will source, screen, interview, and extend offers while partnering with managers to define staffing needs.

You will analyze recruiting processes, maintain candidate pipelines, and drive data-driven improvements. This role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting qualified Mechanics is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable making decisions independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.
• Self-starter, able to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-life cycle recruiting for Service Center and Shop roles including developing recruitment strategies, sourcing and screening candidates, participating in onsite interviews, and extending/offering offers.
• Analyze current recruiting processes and make recommendations for improvement.
• Responsible for the full pipeline interview and hiring process in iCIMS for Service Center and Shop requisitions.
• Identify local career centers and colleges to establish and maintain candidate pipeline.
• Create and implement long and short-term objectives relating to recruiting Service Center and Shop personnel.
• Use independent judgment to move candidates forward in the selection process.
• Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and qualifications required for open positions.
