Qualifications

• 7+ years direct management experience in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
• Full staffing lifecycle: interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and termination.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
• Interest in long-term career development through assignments in multiple FCs across the nation.
• Experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and implementation of quality improvement and process optimization initiatives, including Lean methodologies, to enhance operational efficiency.
• Responsible for overall performance of either Inbound or Outbound operation, including safety, quality and customer experience.
• Sets and clarifies requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance and provides feedback.
• Leverages Operations and Area Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas and building improvement plans.
• Takes proactive steps to ensure best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and network.
• Works with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Operations Managers to secure support for projects.
