Amazon Inc. in New Jersey seeks a Sr. Operations Manager to oversee budgetary, people development, and operational objectives at the Fulfillment Center site.

You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching them to meet performance targets while building positive employee relations and leadership strength across the FC. You will drive Lean and quality initiatives, ensure safety and customer experience, and collaborate with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety and IT to secure resources

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 7+ years direct management experience in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.

Responsabilités

• Leads development and implementation of quality and process-improvement initiatives, including Lean.
• Oversees overall performance of Inbound or Outbound operations, including safety, quality and customer experience.
• Sets and communicates requirements for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance and provides feedback.
• Leverages managers by sourcing ideas and creating improvement plans for the area.
• Ensures best practices are shared across departments, shifts and network.
• Collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Operations Managers for resources.
