Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Operations Manager for our Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, driving budgetary and people development goals while ensuring safety, quality, and customer experience in both inbound and outbound operations.

You will set performance expectations, coach leaders, leverage cross-functional resources, and share best practices across the network. A bachelor's degree is required; MBA or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Preferred: Engineering, Operations or related field; MBA preferred.
• Experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and work under pressure.
• Interest in long-term career development through assignments across multiple FCs.

Responsibilities

• Drives creation of quality initiatives and Lean initiatives to meet/exceed business plan.
• Oversees safety, quality, performance and customer experience of Inbound/Outbound operations.
• Sets requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance.
• Leverages team to source ideas and create improvement plans.
• Ensures best practices are shared across departments, shifts, and network.
• Collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and others to secure resources.
