Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager to lead site-wide execution at North Haven, CT.

You will own budget, people development and operational objectives, coaching a team of Operations and Area Managers to meet performance targets and build leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Center. You will drive safety, quality and customer experience for inbound or outbound operations, set expectations, measure performance, and collaborate with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety and IT to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
• Experience in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Drives quality and Lean initiatives to meet/exceed plan across the function.
• Oversees safety, quality, performance, and customer experience for inbound or outbound operations.
• Sets and clarifies requirements for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance and provides feedback.
• Leverages managers to source ideas and create improvement plans.
• Ensures best practices are shared across departments and shifts.
• Works with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Operations Managers to secure resources for projects.
