Amazon in Monroe, OH is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead budgetary and people development objectives at the Fulfillment Center. You will coach a team of Operations and Area Managers, drive Lean changes, and ensure safety, quality, and customer experience across inbound or outbound operations.

The role requires 7+ years of management in manufacturing/distribution, with full staffing lifecycle experience and strong performance metrics.

Qualifications

7+ years direct management experience in manufacturing, production or distribution.
Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and termination.
Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.

Responsibilities

Drives quality initiatives, process changes and Lean initiatives to meet business plan.
Oversees safety, quality, performance and customer experience for inbound or outbound operations.
Sets expectations for Operations and Area Managers and measures performance.
Leverages managers to source improvement ideas and create improvement plans.
Shares best practices across departments, shifts and network.
Collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Operations Managers to secure resources.
