Job summary

Amazon's Kentucky Fulfillment Center is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager to lead budgeting, people development, and operations objectives.

You will manage a team of Operations and Area Managers, mentor leaders, and foster strong employee relations to meet performance targets. Responsibilities include driving Lean and quality initiatives, ensuring safety and customer experience, and partnering with HR/Finance/Facilities to secure resources for projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of direct management experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality initiatives, process changes, and Lean initiatives to meet the business plan.
• Oversee safety, quality, performance and customer experience for Inbound or Outbound operations.
• Set expectations for Operations and Area Managers; measure performance and provide feedback.
• Leverage managers to source ideas and create improvement plans.
• Share best practices across departments, shifts, and network.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and others to secure resources for initiatives.
