Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager in Canton, OH to lead the Fulfillment Center's operations, drive Lean initiatives and mentor a team of Operations and Area Managers. You will manage safety, quality, and customer experience while aligning with business goals and staffing lifecycle.

The role requires 7+ years of management in manufacturing/distribution, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years direct management in manufacturing, production or distribution.
• Experience with staffing lifecycle: interviewing, hiring, performance management.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Operations and Area Managers.
• Drive quality initiatives and Lean projects to meet business plans.
• Ensure safety, quality, and customer experience for inbound or outbound ops.
• Set expectations, measure performance, and hold teams accountable.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT to secure resources.
