Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager to lead budgetary, people development and operational objectives at the Fulfillment Center. You will manage a team of Operations and Area Managers, coach staff to meet performance goals, and build leadership bench strength across the FC.

Must have 7+ years of direct management experience in manufacturing, distribution, or production, with Lean, performance metrics and staffing lifecycle expertise. Occasional overnight/weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 7+ years direct management experience in manufacturing, production or distribution.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.

Responsibilities

• Drives creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and Lean initiatives to meet business plan.
• Responsible for overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience of either Inbound or Outbound operations.
• Sets and clarifies requirements for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance and provides feedback.
