Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician I to support fuel cell products in the Dayton area. You will perform maintenance at customer sites, diagnose issues, and upgrade hardware/software as needed.

Strong communication and safety focus are essential as you interact with lift truck operators and customers on a daily basis. You must have a high school diploma with technical electrical coursework and 3+ years of troubleshooting experience.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
Three or more years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
Must possess a valid driver license with a clean driving record and ability to drive.
Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reports and logs.
Excellent verbal and written communication across diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting and evaluations to keep the fleet at a fixed location.
Execute field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to fuel cells.
Provide emergency support as needed and order parts/tools as required.
Travel as needed; document incidents and maintain service logs.
Uphold safety standards and interact professionally with customers.
