Job summary

Plug Power is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell products in electric lift trucks at a designated site. You will perform preventative maintenance, resolve breakdowns, and handle installations and servicing of fuel cells at customer locations.

The role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in the field. You will report issues, order parts, and maintain service records while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three (3)+ years in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and evaluate fleet performance at a location.
• Perform field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades of fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support to customers as required.
• Procure tools, equipment, and parts for field service.
• Maintain safety procedures and report incidents.
• Travel as required; drive safely and adhere to traffic laws.
